Two endowed funds, established through generous community gifts.

Top two awards named

ICC Scholarship

ICC Scholarship is a creation of collaborative efforts of Asian Indian Professionals (AIP) and Indian Cultural Center (ICC). Dr. Dev Gupta donated $200,000 for the scholarship fund. Awards go to deserving students on merit and need; the top two each year are named the Krishna Gupta Memorial Scholarship in honor of his late wife.

Sailesh & Manidipa Chowdhury Scholarship

Established with a generous $300,000 gift from ICC's Grand Benefactors, Sailesh & Manidipa Chowdhury. Annual awards to two graduating seniors from each of seven local high schools.
For: Graduating high school seniors of Indian origin
Schools:Cherry Hill East, Cherry Hill West, Moorestown, Lenape, Cherokee, Shawnee & Eastern

How to Apply

Applications are accepted annually. The deadline is shown below.

How students are selected

The scholarship committee selects deserving students based on financial need, merit, and any special circumstanceswithout knowing the identity of the applicants. The committee also decides the total amount to be distributed and the amounts of the individual awards.

Required materials

  • Completed scholarship application form
  • Most recent tax returns
  • Proof of college admission
  • Most recent academic transcript
  • Personal statement explaining your candidacy
  • List of awards, honors, scholarships, extracurriculars, and community service
  • Summary of any special circumstances

Timeline

  • Application deadline: May 31 (each year)
  • Awards announced & checks distributed: at the Annual Scholarship Award banquet, typically in the fall
